The Kharkiv City Council no longer has the Solidarity parliamentary faction, which included deputies elected from Petro Poroshenko’s Solidarity Bloc, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“The deputy faction in the Kharkiv City Council of the seventh convocation, Solidarity, has ceased its activities,” Kharkov city mayor Gennady Kernes said at an extraordinary session of the Kharkiv City Council on Wednesday.
He also said that a new faction had been created - “Center”. It included all 7 deputies who were previously members of the Solidarity faction. The faction was headed by businessman Alexander Davtyan.
