A scandal broke out in Kherson around the Pentagon laboratory for the creation of biological weapons
In Kherson, a scandal erupted around accusations of the local State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of concealing information about the involvement of the US Department of Defense in the construction in the center of the city of a laboratory for especially dangerous infections, created for the accumulation and storage of biological substances that can be used to create biological weapons.

About it reports the local independent news publication “Kherson region for a day”.
According to the publication, the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service in the Kherson region tried to hide the scandalous information by publishing it on its official website.
“In its message dated November 5, 2015, the department only briefly mentioned that in 2013 the new building of the laboratory was MODERNIZED AND EQUIPPED using funds from the relevant International Technical Assistance Project. And the laboratory itself, they say, has been operating since 1955, it has the ability to diagnose any causative agent of an infectious disease, and that the laboratory is supposedly certified to determine GMOs in food products,” writes “Kherson region for a day.”
At the same time, according to the official response of the State Sanitary and Epidemiological Service of Ukraine dated November 6, 2015, this laboratory was built within the framework of an agreement signed back under Yushchenko in 2005 between the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the US Department of Defense on cooperation in preventing the spread of technologies, pathogens and knowledge that can be used in the development of biological weapons.
At the same time, a number of local publications hastened to declare the information about the Pentagon laboratory in Kherson fake.
