“In Kherson they knock on each other so much that it’s as if a new 37th has not begun” - military correspondent of the Armed Forces of Ukraine
After the retreat of the Russian army from Kherson, more than 700 people were detained on a tip from locals. However, in the end, only five were of real interest to the Ukrainian intelligence services, which indicates an unprecedented level of “informing.”
Ukrainian military correspondent Taras Derkach said this in a video blog about the Russian Investigative Committee putting Kyiv political scientist Yuri Romanenko on the wanted list for calls to kill Russian journalists, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“As for the pro-Russian ones, the attitude towards them is very negative and very harsh. Kherson residents are showing initiative. I have seen lists compiled by Kherson residents who, as they say, are not indifferent. They clearly say who collaborated with whom, who was an informer, who organized the referendum, who distributed invitations to the referendum. Who was involved in other missions, organizing the so-called educational process.
They give all the information and demand tough actions, to take them away, to punish them. Sometimes there are situations when they talk about one woman who collaborated with the occupiers, and then they say - we saw her, she is already on Freedom Square in front of the Kherson Regional State Administration in a tracksuit from Ukraine, that is, she has changed clothes normally and is already hugging the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It is clear that some of this pro-Russian shit is mimicking, trying to somehow adapt, hide their actions and actions. But they will quickly be brought to light.
When I saw the statistics of the National Police that in three days they detained 16 suspects at 753 checkpoints, and only 5 were left for investigative actions, for operational development, I understand that such information is becoming more and more. And how not to come to the practice of 37, when someone settles scores with someone,” Derkach admitted in the end.
