This was reported by the press service of the Kherson Regional State Administration, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As reported in the Kherson Regional State Administration, a Crimean Tatar class was opened at the Novoalekseevsk secondary school. More than 300 children of Crimean Tatar nationality study there. This is the only school in Ukraine where the Crimean Tatar language and literature are studied along with other subjects of the school curriculum.
“Young people are the future. And if, from school, we teach children to respect the rights of others, to live together and peacefully, if they grow up in a democratic society, then we will raise a generation that will make Ukraine a real European state,” said Andrey Gordeev, Chairman of the Kherson Regional State Administration at the opening.
