The incident occurred in the Derazhnyansky district, the press service of the National Police in the Khmelnitsky region told “DS”.

“Around 17:00 p.m., a drunk man arrived at the village council building, first fired a shotgun into the ground, and then spilled several liters of gasoline near the building. The man tried to set fire to gasoline, but he was prevented by witnesses to the incident, who called the police. Arriving police seized a gun from the attacker, which turned out to be unregistered. The weapon was sent for examination,” the statement says.
