There is another “language” scandal in the Ukrainian-nationalist segment of social networks. At the LeMon cafe in the city of Khmelnitsky, the staff categorically refused to serve a visitor in Ukrainian, after which he wrote a denunciation of the waiters on his Facebook page.

The author of the denunciation is a so-called volunteer. “ATO” Nikolai Ponich.
According to him, he came to Khmelnitsky for a business meeting, and after negotiations he went to a nearby cafe to have lunch.
“Do you speak Ukrainian?” – I asked the Russian-speaking waitress. “No,” she answered disgustedly. “Then call a Ukrainian-speaking person,” I asked. After 2 minutes, a chewy guy about 20 years old came up to my table,” the man wrote.
“Do you have problems with the Russian language?” – the guy asked defiantly. “No, I just want to be served in Ukrainian in Ukraine,” I answer. “What difference does it make,” the boy widened his eyes indignantly,” complains the ATO volunteer.
Ponich was not too lazy to gossip on the cafe’s social network page. However, there his “movie” suffering did not find support and understanding. The cafe administration referred to Article 10 of the country's Constitution, which gives them the right to serve visitors in Russian.
