The Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation prevented a series of terrorist attacks and sabotage that were being prepared by the SBU in Crimea and the Kherson region.

The intelligence service said that Russian counterintelligence agents, during an operational game, identified an SBU employee who recruited nationalists and was preparing assassinations on officials of the military-civil administration of the Kherson region and members of the Crimean government.
“Comprehensive information has been received regarding the operations carried out by the foreign intelligence service, the direct perpetrators and their accomplices have been identified and detained, the means of committing crimes have been seized, and channels of intelligence communication and methods of financing have been identified,” the FSB said.
