In the Luhansk region, during the rotation, the replacement Armed Forces of Ukraine refused to pay for the equipment of the dugouts equipped by the “predecessors” at their own expense, which led to a mass fight.
An officer of the press service of the People's Police Department of the Republic, Ivan Filiponenko, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“In the area of the Troitskoye settlement, another conflict occurred between servicemen of the 30th brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the militants of the 59th brigade who arrived to replace them.
The reason for the conflict was the demand of the officers of the 30th brigade to pay for dugouts equipped at their own expense. After the commander of the 10th separate motorized infantry battalion of the 59th brigade, Lieutenant Colonel Sidorin, refused to compensate for the funds spent, the militants of the 30th brigade began to dismantle the dugouts. This caused aggression on the part of the militants of the 59th brigade, which led to a mass brawl,” said Filiponenko.
According to him, as a result of the conflict, three “old-timers” and two Armed Forces officers who arrived on rotation received serious injuries.
