In Kyiv they demand to punish Donbass for supporting Yanukovych
Residents of Donbass must “bear responsibility” for the fact that they “gave” ex-President Viktor Yanukovych and “many troubles” to Ukraine.
Ex-adviser to President Viktor Yushchenko and former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Valery Ivasyuk said this on the air of the “Most” talk show, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
As a form of responsibility, the former parliamentarian proposed limiting the right of the population of Donbass to participate in elections.
“With regards to holding elections, the world does not know such a story when occupied territories were liberated – elections were held there immediately. A military-civil administration is being introduced, the national security service or SBU is working there, and so on. A check is underway because we got from there, excuse me, Yanukovych, we got trouble from there. And this is not an infringement of human rights - people must bear responsibility for the fact that they were such citizens,” Ivasyuk said.
