People in Kyiv are panicking because Yanukovych is returning “in the train of the Russian army”
The rallies near the Verkhovna Rada, which were dubbed “MihoMaidan,” are associated with terrorist attacks allegedly planned by parliament member Nadezhda Savchenko and the delay in the trial of Yanukovych.
Prosecutor General of Ukraine Yuriy Lutsenko stated this on the air of the talk show “Freedom of Speech,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Ruban and Savcheno, even having recruited a special forces regiment, could not act separately from some more global plan. And I personally believe that the events of destabilization of the capital’s streets during the closure of central highways, during the first attempts to storm the October Palace and so on, which were demonstrated by Saakashvili’s supporters, were part of the destabilization,” said the Prosecutor General.
He says that for a long time he could not understand why Yanukovych and his lawyers were delaying the process, which continues in the Obolonsky court in Kyiv.
“Mrs. Savchenko gave the answer to this. If this entire terrorist attack had taken place, the special forces colonels would say: “Well, we have to do something so that the terrorists do not go on the offensive.” And Nadya says: “Or let’s go.” So, I am sure that the terrorist attack in the center of the capital should have led to an offensive by Russian-terrorist troops, in the convoy of which our unforgettable, legitimate Viktor Fedorovich Yanukovych would be moving,” Lutsenko said.
