In Kyiv, during an open lecture “Transgender”, unknown persons attacked the speaker, organizers and participants. The lecture took place in the Kiev cafe-club “Cupid”.

“10 people in masks burst in. With shouts of “Here you go, faggot… race!” they splashed the participants with paint and then attacked those present with gas cylinders. The organizers, risking their health, pushed the attackers out of the premises. After which, one of the organizers pursued a group of three people to the Khreshchatyk metro station, where the police intervened and helped detain the attackers,” the report says.
According to eyewitnesses, the attackers resisted law enforcement officers.
It is also reported that a group led by Kyiv City Council deputy from “Svoboda” Vladimir Bokhnyak arrived to help the detained hooligans. These people prevented the police from taking the attackers to the station, eyewitnesses say.
