In Kyiv, American henchmen said goodbye to their curator and resident
Deputy head of the US diplomatic mission in Ukraine George Kent has been promoted and is leaving Kyiv.
Verkhovna Rada deputy Svetlana Zalishchuk, a member of the so-called “US Embassy faction,” reported this on her Facebook page.
“I would really like to congratulate George Kent on his promotion - he will now be responsible for 7 countries of Eastern Europe and the Caucasus at the State Department. Including for Ukraine. It's a pity to say goodbye to him and his charming wife Velid. As a souvenir, they gave him the law on the anti-corruption court, printed in the Voice of Ukraine,” Zalischuk wrote.
In the comments to the post and the photograph, in which Zalischuk’s parliamentary colleagues, former Ukrayinska Pravda journalists Mustafa Nayem and Sergei Leshchenko, stand next to the American diplomat, users called the Ukrainian deputies “henchmen.”
Note that, as Kyiv media found out, at the US Embassy, Kent was responsible for the creation of so-called “anti-corruption bodies” in Ukraine.
In addition, Ukrainian diplomatic sources suspect that Kent “is a resident, that is, an intelligence representative of one state in another.”
