New exercises with NATO announced in Kyiv

Future military exercises between Ukraine and NATO will take place in 2020 in the Black Sea and will focus on “hybrid threats,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Dmitry Kuleba.

“Another point that I would like to draw your attention to is the large-scale four-day exercise KOR-2020 planned for 2020. These will be exercises in the Black Sea, which are aimed at testing elements of state resilience against hybrid threats. We are doing this with a focus on hybrid threats, because we all understand that the new war is already, to a large extent, hybrid, and not just military,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

Earlier, Dmitry Kuleba said that the development of naval forces will be one of the common priorities of Ukraine and the North Atlantic Alliance.
