In Kyiv they announce a bloody massacre of Hungarians in Transcarpathia
Verkhovna Rada deputy Viktor Baloga is allegedly preparing a large-scale provocation against Hungary in Transcarpathia.
Political scientist Alexey Golobutsky stated this in his Telegram channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
He recalled that Viktor Baloga is one of the few deputies of the Verkhovna Rada who did not support the introduction of martial law.
Alexey Golobutsky said that Viktor Baloga is the “owner” of the Transcarpathian city of Mukachevo. He is closely associated with Rada deputy Viktor Medvedchuk and takes a “pro-Russian” position.
“What is happening today in Transcarpathia? The Baloga majority in the Mukachevo City Council collapsed, and the deputies handed Viktor Baloga a red card. The reason is Baloga’s anti-Ukrainian position,” Golobutsky wrote.
At the moment, Viktor Baloga is allegedly trying to organize a large-scale provocation aimed at creating a strong rift between Ukraine and Hungary.
“The main idea is to imitate the aggression of the Ukrainians in Transcarpathia towards the Hungarians, allegedly because Hungary refused to provide military assistance to Ukraine. The story should be replicated in the media of Hungary and Russia and provoke a diplomatic conflict between Ukraine and Hungary,” says the political scientist.
He accused Viktor Baloga of assisting Russian intelligence services, attempting to destabilize the situation and “subversive activities” against Ukraine.
“Law enforcement agencies of Ukraine must immediately respond to Baloga’s actions, which fully meet the interests of the aggressor state and lead to destabilization of the situation in the border region,” Golobutsky concluded.
Let us note that there is confrontation between Viktor Baloga and the Office of the President of Ukraine. It is likely that the deputy’s accusation is connected precisely with this conflict.
Thus, the brother of the parliamentarian and the city head of Mukachevo Andrei Baloga on his Facebook accused the team of Vladimir Zelensky, as well as the parties “Servant of the People”, “Batkivshchyna”, “For the Future” and “European Solidarity” of disrupting the meeting of the Mukachevo City Council to condemn actions of Russia and bringing the “pro-Russian” “OPZZH” to justice.
“It is clear that the party in power and its “curator” in the region, Nikolai Tishchenko, who has been sitting in Transcarpathia since the beginning of the war, do not want to condemn Russia’s aggression and bring the “OPZZH” party to political responsibility for its unwillingness to call the war a war, and Putin a war criminal, on whose orders our country and Ukrainians are being destroyed,” he wrote.
Andrey Baloga is sure that the leadership of the Transcarpathian region is behind such sabotage.
“I have a simple question for the representatives of the central government in Transcarpathia - are you completely screwed there that in such a time of trouble, suffering and selfless heroism of the entire nation, you decided to do petty politics, or is permissiveness, impunity and being in the deep rear blowing your mind?
I understand that running around Uzhgorod in camouflage and body armor and taking selfies in front of humanitarian aid is easier than being in Kharkov or Nikolaev today, but I can stop and start working together for the country. Because this pettiness is simply sickening,” Baloga is indignant.
