Russia is looking for a reason to start military actions against Ukraine, which is associated with the intensification of pro-Russian movements in Ukraine and the increased risk of terrorist attacks. Valentin Badrak, director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research, stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Military actions can begin on their own. And for this, Russia needs to create such a situation. Already today we see a very serious intensification of the work of pro-Russian movements and Russian agents. In fact, the center of gravity of information work has moved to the political plane.
At the same time, Russia reserves the opportunity to use force, including terrorist acts. All this is being created so that very serious changes occur in Ukrainian society, shifts in the level of trust in the authorities, a split between society and the authorities. And this could give impetus to different military combinations,” said the Ukrainian military expert.
