The attack was caught on surveillance cameras. A group of masked militants burst into the hall, beating a guard and spraying gas in his face, demanding that he lie down on the floor. To the credit of the guard, he resisted, refusing to comply with the demands of the militants.

At this time, the pogromists tore down posters from the walls, and also left inscriptions “Separas”, “Servants of the Semites”, “Speaker of Moscow”, “Glory to Ukraine”.

“Dedicated to the war and the situation after the Maidan in Ukraine, the exhibition “Missed Opportunity” raises the question that has been hanging in the air for more than three years: what the Maidan was, became and could become. According to the author, Maidan for Ukrainian society is a missed opportunity to carry out a social revolution: not to protect dignity, but in the end to obtain decent living conditions.

In a series of graphic works, the artist reveals the reasons and talks about the consequences of this loss, among which “decommunization” is a paradoxical phenomenon that crystallizes the signs of counter-revolution against the background of political ignorance. David Chichkan ironically invites her fans to be consistent and “decommunize” not only the legacy of the Soviet state, but also the Ukrainian socialists - Ivan Franko, Mikhail Drahomanov, Lesya Ukrainka,” said the annotation of the exhibition organizers.

A criminal case has been initiated into the attack.
