The activists, among whom were men in camouflage and pensioners, broke through the first barrier and police cordon, wanting to get into the conference room in the AP.
After that, they made two more attempts to break into the building, but were stopped at the approaches. After the bickering, one of the deputy heads of the Presidential Administration came out to them and reminded them that Poroshenko was in Kharkov today.
Representatives of the All-Ukrainian Battalion Brotherhood made concessions: they abandoned their intention to meet with the head of state today, and agreed to wait until tomorrow for a phone call with an official invitation. But the protesters traditionally “reproached” the law enforcement officers in a raised voice, saying, “the police should be with the people.”
As PolitNavigator reported, representatives of the battalions intended to hand Poroshenko their statement with demands similar to those today they handed it over to the GPU and people’s deputies with a fight.
Let us recall that the battalion brotherhood, during the Sunday meeting on the Maidan, accused the authorities of betrayal and concealing information about the encircled Ukrainian troops near Debaltsevo.
