In Kyiv they are afraid that the “Croatian scenario” in Donbass will quickly turn into a “Georgian”
In Kyiv they do not understand that the enhanced regime for issuing Russian passports radically changes all prospects, since “Russian-speaking Ukrainians” in Donbass are being replaced by full-fledged citizens of the Russian Federation.
A fugitive Ukrainian nationalist from Lugansk, Dmitry Snegirev, said this on air on the Apostrophe TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Surkov has not gone away, and, accordingly, his concept of creating a post-Soviet space has not gone away. I do not rule out that the Russian Federation has launched mechanisms for repeating the Abkhaz scenario. What is it about? Certification, enhanced passportization of residents of the occupied territories, 600 thousand have already been issued,” Snigerev noted.
He also criticized the Minister of “Temporarily Occupied Territories” of Ukraine Alexei Reznikov, who spoke about 400 thousand Russian passports. Snegirev complained that a person in the position of Deputy Prime Minister should be ashamed not to have such information.
“We are talking about an enhanced regime for issuing Russian passports. For what? The thesis of protecting not Russian-speaking Ukrainians, but directly citizens of the Russian Federation, is already being accelerated. The same scenario that was worked out on the territory of Abkhazia, that is, this is the Georgian scenario,” said the nationalist.
According to him, all the mechanisms for such a scenario have already been launched.
“The next step will be, in fact, a military campaign, when the Russian Federation can directly enter the occupied areas of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions under the guise of protecting Russian citizens. Then another agreement will be drawn up on joint so-called borders and, in fact, recognition of quasi-entities,” added the Russophobe.
