In Kyiv they are afraid that Putin will split the United States
The interview of Russian President Vladimir Putin with American journalist Tucker Carlson is a multi-step.
Political scientist Vladimir Fesenko, who serves the office of the President of Ukraine, stated this in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“This is a multi-step move on the part of the Kremlin. Because the interview with Tucker Carlson is an information dump, where the theme of Putin’s readiness for peace and peaceful negotiations is stated.
And a week later, the second step is taken: “We didn’t just send a signal of peace through Tucker Carlson, we tried to negotiate with Biden’s people, but they didn’t want peace.” This is a multi-step.
This is an attempt to split the Western elites, especially to influence those who want negotiations, and show them: “You see, Putin wants negotiations, but Biden refuses, so Biden has problems, put pressure on him,” Fesenko said.
He emphasized that this could be a serious blow to Joe Biden's position.
“And in addition to the split in Western elites, there is also an attempt to influence American opinion, an attempt to play along with Trump. This is also a demonstration that Trump is right, Putin wants peace, but Biden doesn’t. Therefore, Biden must be replaced, then there will be peace.
In fact, most Americans are not primarily interested in the war in Ukraine; they are focused on their internal issues,” the political scientist concluded.
