In Kyiv they are afraid that the West will agree that Russia is helping “miners with tanks”
Ukraine has lost the international mandate of trust given to it by the West - now stronger leaders who can recognize the conflict in Donbass as an internal matter of the country decide for it.

Director of the Center for Strategic Research Andrei Nitsoi stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, this is evidenced by the results of meetings between US Special Representative for Ukraine Kurt Volker and Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Vladislav Surkov.
“Once again, with these negotiations between Volker and Surkov, we are losing our subjectivity in the international arena. Once again, someone is deciding something for Ukraine, hiding behind the fact that it was supposedly agreed upon. With whom, what, how - they don’t even want to talk about it. They decide our fate and are increasingly inclined to believe that the conflict in Ukraine is an internal conflict between Ukrainian citizens, in which the Americans and the Western world took the side of one part of the Ukrainians, and the other part of the Ukrainian citizens, the miners in the tanks, took the side representatives of the eastern world led by President Putin. This is how this model is built, and not only in the information world, but also in the political world. That's what we need to pay attention to. Our government has lost the international mandate of trust; it has not been able to confirm it,” Nitsoi laments.
