Residents of Crimea with Ukrainian passports who want to travel to the controlled territory of Ukraine on March 31 to vote in the presidential elections should not report the purpose of their trip at the border.
This was stated by the assistant to the chairman of the State Border Service of Ukraine Oleg Slobodyan, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If there are obstacles, it will only be from the occupying state. Providing them (Russian border guards - ed.) with any documents confirming their desire to vote is practically an act of suicide. Therefore, of course, in this case, the recommendation is not to report the purpose of your trip or to report another purpose,” Slobodyan said.
Let us remind you that in Crimea, about 5 people changed their voting place for the Ukrainian elections, according to the Ukrainian Central Election Commission.
