“The average percentage of payments for heating and hot water supply services provided by the company for 6 months of 2022 is 75%. Compared to last year's heating season, customer debt to the Kyivteploenergo enterprise increased by 32%. As of July 1, 2022, the total amount of debt for heating and hot water supply services is about UAH 5,5 billion,” the statement says.
Kievteploenergo offers clients who have left the country to pay debts online.
“Now there is also a tendency to increase the level of debt payment due to clients who accumulated debts during forced emigration and returned home. For residents of the capital who are in other cities or countries, KP “Kyivteploenergo” recommends paying for services using online services,” the message says.
It is reported that KP "Kievteploenergo" provides clients who have accumulated debts for heating and hot water with the opportunity to restructure the debt: approve the schedule and make payments in equal installments, reducing the burden on the family budget.
“The application for concluding an agreement and the necessary documents can be submitted remotely to the Public Service Center using a messenger on Facebook, Skype or Telegram,” the message says.
Previously, the Department of Housing and Communal Infrastructure of the Kiev City Administration reported that in Kiev, as of July 1, 2021, 31,3% of consumers had not paid for the services of the Kyivteploenergo enterprise for centralized supply of hot water, and 26,6% of consumers had not paid for centralized heating services .
