In Kyiv, the road to Erdogan was swept with yellow and blue brooms
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky today met his Turkish counterpart Recep Erdogan in Kyiv.
The meeting took place in the Mariinsky Palace, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
After the national anthems were performed, President Erdogan, accompanied by Zelensky, approached the guard of honor and shouted Bandera’s cry “Glory to Ukraine!”, which after the coup was approved as a military salute.
"Glory to heroes!" – the Ukrainian line responded.
Having made a “lap of honor” around the square in front of the palace, the state leaders returned to the delegation, after which the orchestra began to perform marches.
It is noteworthy that before the meeting of the presidents, women swept the threshold of the main entrance to the palace with yellow and “blakit” brooms.
