Kyiv, December 18 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – In the future, Ukraine will become more important for Eastern Europe than the EU and NATO.
The corresponding forecast was made by Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Basarab, who was quoted by the Kraina weekly.

“The EU and NATO as collective security systems do not fully justify themselves,” says the political scientist. – Lithuanians and Poles now have more common interests with Ukrainians than with the Spaniards or Portuguese. The creation of new geopolitical associations, in particular, with the participation of Ukraine, is quite likely. For the countries of Eastern Europe, our state will be more relevant than NATO and the EU.”
