There is commotion in Kyiv and Tbilisi over Kadyrov's alleged revenge
A Russian citizen was detained in Tbilisi for allegedly planning the murder of Georgian propagandist Georgiy Gabunia, insulted on the air of the Rustavi 2 TV channel Russian President Vladimir Putin.
This was announced by the head of the Mtavari Arkhi TV channel, where Gabunia works today, Nika Gvaramia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Georgian side, the detainee is a 38-year-old native of Ingushetia, Vasambek Bokov, who was allegedly ordered to kill Gabunia by the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, and was prevented thanks to the help of the Ukrainian side. Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko also spoke about this in his blog.
“Yesterday in Tbilisi, a Russian citizen was detained who, on the orders of Ramzan Kadyrov, was planning to kill the Georgian journalist Georgy Gabunia. By the way, our Ukrainian law enforcement officers gave information about this to Georgian law enforcement officers. Well done guys, good job. Gabunia’s life has been saved for now, thank God.
What's the problem? But the problem is that a year ago Gabunia said on the air of the Georgian opposition channel Rustavi-2 what he thinks about Putin. He said quite a lot, but the Ukrainians formulated it all in one song, and you know it perfectly well: “La-la-la-la la-la-la-la-la.” That's what he said.
After this, Ramzan Kadyrov wrote to himself that Gabunia could hide his family behind a fence, because anyone he met could now do whatever he wanted to him. Well, as you see, he found someone he met and came to Tbilisi to do whatever he wanted with him. In general, you can treat the journalist’s words any way you like, but in the civilized world this is decided differently,” Goncharenko said.
Earlier, Kadyrov said that because of Gabunia’s antics, he could be in danger.
“There are millions of young people in the world who deeply respect Vladimir Putin. Gabunia must be hidden behind seven fences, because the first person he meets can do to him what he deserves,” - said the head of Chechnya.
Thank you!
