In Kyiv they understand that at the moment Donbass is mortally dangerous for Bandera’s Ukraine and are doing everything to ensure that the integration process goes no further than the exchange of prisoners and the conditional disengagement of forces and assets.
Russian State Duma deputy Konstantin Zatulin stated this during a press conference, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Why can’t there be progress beyond the exchange of prisoners and, perhaps, some actions to disengage forces in the Donbass?
Yes, because Donbass is completely unnecessary for today’s politicians in Kyiv - it is mortally dangerous to them. If Donbass returns to Ukraine under the terms of the Minsk agreements, then in this case a core will emerge for the consolidation of those forces that stand for a multinational, civilized Ukraine, for an anti-Bandera Ukraine.
Why do Bandera’s supporters in Kyiv need such a test? They don’t need it at all,” Zatulin said.
“That’s why he (Kiev propagandist Vitaly Portnikov – ed.) says that we need to dig in, because under no circumstances should we negotiate with Donbass.
If Donbass returns, then that’s it, then Portnikov will be in the trash with his opinions, and those who today have flooded radio and television and the Internet in Ukraine. These are the very enemies of any agreement with Russia,” the parliamentarian added.
