After a short verbal altercation between a Russian citizen and former Svoboda people's deputy Igor Miroshnichenko, an athletic man in a T-shirt with inscriptions in Ukrainian ran out from behind the nationalist and hit the Russian several times.
The man fell on the asphalt, after which he, already lying down, was kicked several times. All this happened in front of several hundred law enforcement officers and journalists who did not interfere with what was happening.
Later, the man who beat the Russian explained his action by saying that, allegedly, the citizen of the Russian Federation said that “Stalin defended Ukraine.”
“You dog, this Stalin shot my grandfather,” shouted the attacker.
