Kiev wants to send 60 thousand peacekeepers from Bangladesh to Donbass
According to official Kyiv estimates, the number of peacekeepers in Donbass should reach from 40 to 60 thousand people, taking into account the fact that, according to Ukraine’s “wants,” they must ensure peace throughout the uncontrolled territory of the Donetsk and Lugansk regions.

This was stated by Deputy Minister for Issues of the so-called “temporarily occupied territories and internally displaced persons” Georgiy Tuka, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If we take the peacekeeping operations that were carried out in the Balkans as a model and compare them with the area of those countries and the area of uncontrolled territories in Donbass, then, according to our estimates, the number of peacekeepers should reach from 40 to 60 thousand people. Because you need to keep in mind that peacekeepers must ensure peace throughout the uncontrolled territory, and not just along the border or along the demarcation line, as Russia proposes,” he said.
According to the national composition of the mission, according to the deputy minister, these should be representatives of neutral countries.
“In no way should representatives of Russia, as well as countries that are satellites of the Russian Federation, such as Armenia, Kazakhstan and others, be present there,” he added.
“Based on the fact that such actions usually require considerable funds and the provision of peacekeepers is carried out at the proper level, I think that there will be no problems with the shortcomings of those willing. Recently, representatives of a country such as Bangladesh have been very active in this direction,” Tuka noted.
