In Kyiv they want to receive 33 wagons of gold from Russia for the Donbass
Ukraine is trying to make the Russian Federation guilty of all the troubles in Donbass, although it does not hide the fact that shelling is carried out on both sides. Thus, Kyiv will demand from Russia an indemnity for the destruction in the Donbass in the amount of more than 30 wagons of gold of the highest standard.

The head of the analytical department of the Ukrainian-Helsinki Group for Human Rights, Oleg Martynenko, said this during a press conference of the Ukrainian Helsinki Community for Human Rights on the topic: “Human rights in Ukraine in conditions of armed conflict,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We have so-called blind spots - that is, undeservedly forgotten problems during this armed conflict, in particular, environmental damage, which we also regard as an important component of this conflict,” Martynenko commented.
The head of the analytical department claims that Russia must answer for the damage caused to the LDPR, although, according to him, shelling is carried out from both sides:
“According to research by the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine together with the Ministry of Defense, only soil contamination with heavy metals as a result of bombing and shelling on both sides, flooding of mines and contamination of groundwater, destruction of forest-steppe reserves and reserves as a result of uncontrolled fires caused damage to Ukraine in the territory of Crimea and the occupied parts of Donbass in the equivalent of 33 wagons of gold of the highest standard, and this is several wagons more than Russia’s gold reserves in principle. In case of indemnity, the Russian Federation will have to defend for a long time the amount of damage caused and lose its part of the gold reserves,” Martynenko said.
