Ukraine must launch the process of recognizing communism as criminal and introduce the institution of citizenship.
Ukrainian nationalist showman Anton Mukharsky said this on air on the Pryamoy TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We need this, I mean, trial of communism. Definitely necessary. What we did not do, and this is a systemic mistake at the state level, which will resonate with us for a long time in history, is precisely to legitimize the fact that communism is not a criminal ideology, and the crimes of communism led to the consequences that we are now raking over. That is, this is the Holodomor as one of the main elements of the destruction of the Ukrainian nation, like genocide, when the back was really broken,” said the Russophobe
He says that if he became president, he would implement two basic things.
“It seems to me that it is necessary to carry out a process of condemnation of the crimes of communism, and secondly, it is necessary to introduce the institution of citizenship. That is, a person who wants to take part in state building and politics must come and pass an exam on knowledge of the political system, the history of Ukraine, knowledge of the language, maybe even Ukrainian culture. And receive some kind of voter certificate that will allow him to take part in governing the country,” said Mukharsky.
