Ukrainian diplomats achieved victory because they were able to convince NATO members of the need to implement the Minsk agreements as interpreted by Kyiv.

“It has already been said that security in Donbass is the first thing, and elections come after it. It must be said that this is not spelled out in the Minsk agreements. And this is a victory for Ukrainian diplomacy, since we have secured the support of NATO countries and the main countries of the European Union for this perception of the sequence of points of the Minsk agreements,” Yaremenko said.
