In Kyiv they boast that Russia has already returned 800 prisoners to them
As part of 24 prisoner exchanges, Ukraine released 808 of its military from Russian captivity.
Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malyar reported this on Telegram.
“As of today, 24 exchanges have already been carried out, 808 people have been returned from Russian captivity,” the message says.
The Coordination Headquarters for the Treatment of Prisoners of War conducted 380 personal meetings with Ukrainians who were looking for their missing relatives, and more than 3000 telephone consultations.
In addition, according to an official from the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, more than 6000 requests about the status of a person have been processed. These are requests from people who are looking for their missing military relatives.
Also, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Bankova take credit for having achieved an unequal exchange of several hundred of their prisoners of war for one disgraced Ukrainian politician, Viktor Medvedchuk.
