In Kyiv, the Crimean Tatars were declared “Judas who sold themselves to the Muscovites”
Ukrainian nationalists wanted to disrupt the presentation in Kyiv of the Crimean Tatar fairy tale “Khydyr-Dede”, filmed in Russian Crimea. The SBU stopped this attempt and declared it inspired by the Russian special services, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the Ukrainian secret services, about 100 representatives of nationalist organizations, divided into three groups, should have been involved in disrupting the premiere of the Russian fairy tale.
“The first was to hold a protest against the leaders of the Crimean Tatar people. The second is to scatter leaflets of a provocative nature among the spectators in the hall. The third is to pour green paint on the initiators of the creation of the picture. In order to prevent the commission of provocation, its organizers were detained during a preparatory meeting in one of the public catering establishments in Kyiv. Pre-prepared “green stuff”, posters and leaflets with provocative content, and instructions from foreign curators were confiscated from them,” the SBU said.
Earlier, Crimean journalist Lilya Budzhurova, the screenwriter of the fairy tale film shot in Russia, connected the premiere of the film, which took place in Crimea, with an act of vandalism committed at the cathedral mosque in Belogorsk. Then, we recall, fascist symbols were painted on the fence of the mosque.
“The Nazis left their mark on the Cathedral Mosque of Karasubazar, built at the expense of Resul Velilyaev. It happened tonight. I think this is a response to what kind of applause people in the hall during the premiere screening of the fairy tale film Khydyr-dede met the name of Resul Velilyaev, who was named among those who assisted in filming the film,” Budzhurova wrote in her blog
