In Kyiv they bite their elbows for not negotiating and starting a war
The Ukrainian army was illegally used in Donbass, shelling civilians.
Former Chairman of the Council of Ministers of Crimea and ex-Head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Anatoly Mogilev stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Mogilev called the use of aviation, tanks and artillery in the conflict within the country inadequate.
“We had an anti-terrorist operation for a long time. I know very well the documents that regulate the anti-terrorist operation. The use of tanks, aircraft and guns during the ATO - there are no such things, the armed forces are not involved. The SBU, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and internal troops are involved in this. When we brought in armed forces there and started firing cannons at the cities of Donetsk, Gorlovka, and so on, these were also not entirely adequate actions.
We need to sit down and come to an agreement. One of the current deputies said that he received the Verkhovna Rada watch for creating punitive battalions in the Donbass... In fact, punitive battalions are a function that works against the local population, and not against militants, military personnel, and so on. Even think of saying “punitive battalions”. This is generally nonsense,” Mogilev said.
Earlier, as PolitNavigator reported, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine recognized the illegality of the ATO.
