In Kyiv they dream of a mayor like Sobyanin
The mayor of Kyiv should be a person like Sergei Sobyanin - capable of improving the Ukrainian capital as effectively as was done in Moscow.
Ukrainian political scientist Vasily Vakarov stated this on the Rossiya 1 TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I will say, precisely as a citizen of Ukraine, I would like to have a mayor [like Sergei Sobyanin] in Kyiv. In order for us in Kyiv to have the same sidewalk, the same roads, the same number of metro stations was built as was recently done in Moscow. I say this sincerely. The budget in Kyiv is also decent,” Vakarov said.
Let us remind you that Vitaliy Klitschko, although he is not independent in making decisions, is still leader among potential participants in the election of the mayor of the capital. This is evidenced by a sociological study conducted in early November of this year in the Ukrainian capital by the Center for Social Research.
