In Kyiv they dream of returning Crimea, dividing it into three with Russia and Turkey
Russia and Turkey, together with Ukraine, should form the forces that will control the peninsula during the so-called “transition period.”
The former representative of Ukraine at the negotiations in Minsk, diplomat Roman Bessmertny, said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It is obvious that the transition period for Crimea in its return to Ukraine could be a kind of territory under international control, subject to complete demilitarization. And this is the case when Ukraine, Russia, and Turkey must necessarily take part in international control, because there is a factor of the Crimean Tatars, which must be supported by one of the Muslim countries,” said Bessmertny.
