In Kyiv, the persecution of the Vesti newspaper by “honest” Maidan journalists, grant-eating anti-censorship fighters and “activists” who attacked the editorial office immediately stopped.
The reason for such changes was the secret agreements between the owner of Vesti, fugitive Minister of Revenue Alexander Klimenko, and the administration of Petro Poroshenko.
Journalist and political scientist Iskander Khisamov stated this on TV channel 17.

According to him, using the example of Vesti, one can trace how the entire propaganda machine works, supposedly fighting for freedom of speech and European values.
“Everyone said: “Who is behind the holding, is it not Alexander Klimenko, “Yanukovych’s wallet?” And for a year and a half they ate him up and mistreated him by the leadership. And finally, recently Alexander Klimenko said: “yes, I am the owner of the holding.” He removed Guzhva, put his wife at the head of the holding, and everything withered.
Before this, they were constantly barking and biting everyone’s legs, and when their worst fears were realized, everyone fell silent. What is this? And the explanation is simple - Alexander Klimenko simply wants to return to Ukraine, continue his political life here, he has his own plans. He came to an agreement with the presidential administration that he would help them and promise to soften the newspaper’s policies.
And all these “Dusi” and “TV critics” won’t even say a word that the representative of the “bloody Yanukovych regime” is now returning,” Khisamov said.
