Kyiv, December 10 (PolitNavigator, Maxim Karpenko) – In Kyiv, Automaidan activist Sergei Koba, who was supposed to make a report at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada committee on corruption in the field of emergency management, was beaten and arrested by the police.

According to him, the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Arsen Avakov, said that Koba was detained on charges of hooliganism.

Aronets himself believes that we are talking about political repression.

A photo of him after his arrest with a broken nose was published on Koba’s Facebook – allegedly, this was done by law enforcement officers.

According to Automaidan representative Alexey Gritsenko, the court chose house arrest as a preventive measure for Koba.
