Kiev, July 09 (Navigator, Vladimir Raichenko) – Under the Cabinet of Ministers, workers of the pharmaceutical enterprise “Indar” went on strike, demanding that the Ministry of Health of Ukraine cancel the decision to change ownership, which, as protesters believe, is fraught with the liquidation of the only Ukrainian plant with a full technological cycle of insulin production .

“The Minister of Health says that Ukrainian pharmaceutical enterprises are just bottlers, and it is more profitable to buy medicines abroad,” Viktor Dzizinkovsky, head of the external supply department of Indar JSC, told the agency. “Although these drugs, purchased for foreign currency, will be many times more expensive than those produced in Ukraine.”
An attempt to change ownership occurred in April, when armed people entered the territory of the enterprise. According to the head of the board of JSC Indar, Lyubov Vishnevskaya, the raider takeover was initiated by the former management of the enterprise with the support of the people's deputy from the VO "Svoboda" Oleg Geletey, and the executor was the Minister of Health Oleg Musiy.
