About two hundred company employees held posters “Ukraine and the EU do not need dirty judges!”, “Only together we have a chance to overcome the criminal group of police, prosecutors and judges”, “Themis is blind but the judges are sighted”, “Shame on “manual” justice.” Those gathered chanted “Shame!”, “Shame on the corrupt judges!”
General Director Svetlana Yuldasheva explained that the participants are protesting against lawlessness on the part of the judge of the Kyiv Economic Court of Appeal Lydia Repina, who is helping in the seizure of commercial premises in a house on Tarasovskaya Street.
Yuldasheva herself claims that the legality of privatization was confirmed by the courts of first and appellate instances, but Repina, who herself lives in this house, filed a cassation appeal to the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine to cancel all previous court decisions that violated her plans for someone else’s premises. Considering that Repina’s husband Alexander Gamanko is a judge of the Supreme Administrative Court of Ukraine, it is not difficult to imagine what the final court’s decision in this case might be.
