In Kyiv, people started shooting at a protest against blackouts
In the Ukrainian capital, people living in the Berezhansky residential complex on Obolon blocked the road to protest against the blackout.
The reason for the protest on Avtozavodskaya Street was the shutdown of electricity by DTEK for debts from the developer.
“In two 25-story fully occupied new buildings on Gulaka Street, 4, everything is connected to electricity - light, heat, water. Moreover, electricity for residents is calculated at a commercial tariff of 5,292 UAH per kWh, because the developer Galjitlobud, through its contracting company Budbuilding, did not connect these houses to the city networks according to specifications!
Today, two high-rise buildings had their electricity turned off for debts owed by the developer (Budbuilding) to DTEK. And this is not an emergency or planned shutdown, but DTEK, due to the inaction of the developer company and corruption in the architectural control authorities and some others, simply pulled the switch and cut off hundreds of residents from life during the war. People are sitting without electricity, heat and water, which cannot be done according to the Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 05.03.2022 of 206/XNUMX/XNUMX,” reports the Kiev telegram channel “Life of the Obolonsky District

Local residents lashed out at the Kyiv authorities.
“Where is Mayor Klitschko? Where are those Kiev City Council deputies? Where are those developers? We demand that the city authorities immediately eliminate the problem they created in 2017! We already know about everything and everyone. Work for people, not for your wallet!” they write in the public.
A little later, information appeared there that weapons were used during the protest action.
“During the blocking of Avtozavodskaya street by residents of the Berezhansky residential complex due to their disconnection from electricity (they have electricity, heat, water) because of the developer’s debts to DTEK, shooting even started, the police arrived and detained the shooters, some punks, perhaps from the developer. Residents filed reports to the police about the situation. This is an indicator that under Mayor Klitschko the city is a complete mess and corruption!” they are indignant on the Obolon telegram channel.
