In Kyiv, millions of hryvnia were stolen during the construction of an office for issuing foreign passports
The State Audit Service revealed financial irregularities when checking the intended use of funds for the construction of the office for the provision of administrative services “Ready” in the amount of 3,536 million hryvnia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

In particular, the TMM-Okna company inflated the cost of finishing the facade and basement of the building by 118 thousand hryvnia.
The City-Stroy Group company overestimated the volume and cost of electrical installation work by 21,18 thousand hryvnia.
The construction company "Kauper" overestimated the volume of work on the arrangement of suspended ceilings by 41,37 thousand hryvnia, "BC" Acme Stroy "by 18 thousand hryvnia.
“The audit identified other violations of financial discipline (overstatement in accounting for the value of assets, overstatement in accounting for accounts payable) for a total amount of UAH 3,329 million,” the State Audit Service reported.
The initiator of the creation of the “Ready” project was Lev Partskhaladze, then first deputy chairman of the Kyiv regional administration and current deputy minister of regional development, construction and housing and communal services.
To launch the office, in addition to sponsorship funds, the Kiev regional budget spent about UAH 22 million.

The institution's website states that it provides more than 130 types of government services in one building. These include the issuance of both internal and international passports on a turnkey basis.
