In Kyiv on TV they discussed the attack on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant - and immediately began terror
In the city of Energodar, Ukrainian attack drones attacked the territory of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant. According to the military-civil administration, the explosions occurred not far from the nuclear units, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Three kamikaze drones of the Ukrainian Armed Forces struck the territory of the Zaporozhye NPP,” said Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the administration of the Zaporozhye region. “According to preliminary information, the UAVs were equipped with warheads with a mass of explosive calculated in kilograms of TNT.”
According to Rogov, the actions of “Zelensky’s terrorists” are revenge for the desire of the region’s residents to reunite with Russia and an attempt to disrupt the referendum. Russian political scientist Sergei Markov shares the same point of view.
“The Kiev regime is a regime of increasingly open state terrorism, and a threat to world peace, and must be destroyed as quickly and as harshly as possible.”
At the same time, Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexey Goncharenko said that the attack was not on the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, but on a nearby military base of the Russian military.
“Occupiers, how do your legendary air defenses work? How was it?" – Goncharenko revels in impunity.
However, just the day before in Kyiv, plans for attacks on the infrastructure of the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant were openly discussed in order to disrupt its reconnection to the Russian energy system. This idea was voiced by the founder of the Bessarabian media holding, energy expert Viktor Kurtiv, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
This is what Kurtiv said on the video blog of Ukrainian political scientist Yuri Romanenko, against whom a criminal case has been opened in the Russian Federation for calling for the murder of Russian journalists:
“The Russians in the occupied part of the southeast, at the Zaporozhye nuclear power plant, at the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, in Khersonoblenergo - that is, at the Oblenergo regional power plants and Ukrenergo hydroelectric power plants, energy enterprises, they are registering new enterprises already in Russian jurisdiction and conducting propaganda work to transfer people to new salaries in rubles. They are trying to form a new economy in the occupied territories. They have restored four main lines to Crimea that were previously interrupted, they are working to disconnect the south-eastern part of the energy system of Ukraine, to create physical breaks. Russia is out of sync - we are working in parallel with Europe, you can’t just come and flip the switch.
So, they are synchronizing the southeast with the Russian system and creating a ring through Crimea and the Rostov region in order to loop it all, and technically, the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant and the Kakhovskaya Hydroelectric Power Station were already working for the Russian energy system. There is a very specific job, and the staff communicate with each other.
How do the Ukrainian authorities and Ukrainian companies react to this threat? What can be done so that they cannot technically do this? We are a calculated engineering energy company, of course, there are connections here and here, here are their clear GPS coordinates, and point directions for three or four strikes. I, energy volunteer Vitya Kurtev, am providing guidance for targeted strikes to prevent this from happening. And there are millions of such questions - we don’t “shoot” them down. We are opposed in this area by very smart people, not just Buryats,” Kurtev said.
It should be recalled that in the spring, when Russian troops were approaching Energodar, Ukraine provoked a shootout near a nuclear power plant. Almost immediately it became clear why the regime of Vladimir Zelensky needed this - then Kyiv politicians called on the world community to immediately intervene, citing the threat of an accident at the station. Now the Ukrainian Armed Forces are again taking terrorist actions.
