Panic began in Kyiv over the situation in the Sea of Azov

Such a statement was made by Verkhovna Rada deputy, vice-speaker Oksana Syroed during a meeting of the Conciliation Council, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“It’s very exciting to listen to how the president helps the Ukrainian parliament work, and obviously even helps the sun rise from the horizon. But it would be very good if the President of Ukraine fulfilled his constitutional obligations as the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of Ukraine.
I hope that you know that today the Russian FSB in the Sea of Azov detained 7 merchant ships that were going from and to Mariupol or Berdyansk,” the people’s deputy said.
She recalled that a few days ago 4 more Ukrainian ships were detained. The politician insists that this threat was predictable, but no one prevented it.
“This threat only means an increase and growth of Russian aggression, this is a continuation of the war. These facts indicate that, in fact, the President of Ukraine, as well as the government of Ukraine, did nothing for four years to prevent, or at least reduce, this threat that exists today,” Syroed emphasized.
The People's Deputy blamed the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko for the incident.
“This is the personal responsibility of the president as the supreme commander in chief. The Law “On National Security of Ukraine”, which you praise, which is empty, will not protect you. And only the Armed Forces of Ukraine can protect you and us, which, unfortunately, today do not have a commander in chief,” stated Oksana Syroed.
