Event participant Tatyana Bliznyuk stated this in her blog, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to her, nationalists from KUPR, OUN, the Black Committee and other radical nationalist right-wing organizations wanted to demand that the president investigate the killings on the Maidan. But as soon as the installation of tents began, the security forces began beating the next “peaceful demonstrators.”
“Some titukhans swooped in to steal the tents. The crowd caught up with them, beat them and took away their tents. We set up two tents, but they were very small, I can’t imagine how one could spend the night in them. And large warm tents were stolen from the car. But the golden eagle came running to take away those small tourist huts.
After the massacre, the rally continued... They brought tires. Then a column of golden eagles came running and broke the tents. But I didn’t take the tires. And that's why people beat garbage with those tires. After that they lit the tire. When it caught fire, debris came in and extinguished the tire. All this was accompanied by clashes, sometimes bloody,” wrote Bliznyuk.
The nationalists are also threatening another mass protest on the anniversary of the attempt to disperse the Maidan by security forces, which occurred on the night of November 29-30, 2013.
“The people saw that they had to go out because he was a scribe. Well, again, people remembered the old pastime of waving with golden eagles,” the activist rejoices. - So it’s not all in vain. We agreed to meet on November 29 at 18:00.”
