In Kyiv they are escalating: Russian tanks are about to cross the border
Russia is creating new troop groups in close proximity to the Ukrainian border not for defense, but for offensive operations.
Deputy Director of the Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Research Mikhail Samus stated this at a press conference in Kyiv, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“New groups began to be created around Ukraine, which now consist of the First Tank Army, which is located in the northeast, closer to Smolensk, the 20th Army was completely reformatted, two new divisions were created, which are located in close proximity to the Ukrainian border. That is, the actually created group is ready for an offensive. If we look at the map now, we can clearly see that this is not a defense group that is preparing to conduct defense operations, as they declare: “we see that there is instability in Ukraine, so we are stationing troops here.” In fact, the nature of these groups in close proximity to the Ukrainian border, not in depth, which would create the possibility of creating a defense infrastructure, but right at the border, is designed for the fact that Ukraine will not attack, and is precisely of an offensive nature,” said He.
