In Kyiv they found and demand to punish another “collaborator” among the people’s deputies
Single-mandate people's deputy Anton Yatsenko fled the country in the first days of the beginning of the SVO in Ukraine and “disappeared from the radar” in constituency No. 200 (Cherkasy region), from which he was elected to parliament.
Yatsenko was “snitched” on Radio Liberty by local politician and head of the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Rada Andriy Dykun.
“When there are dynamics from within, they exist globally on a national scale and, as an example, in the Cherkasy region. In the first days of the war, when everyone was running away and no one knew what would happen, then Taburets (chairman of the Cherkassy OVA - Ed.) was found, was not afraid, took responsibility, was appointed governor, and he was ready for the fact that the Russian army would enter the region and it would be necessary to defend it. Instead, Yatsenko ran away; he was not there for the first month or two.
If you don’t know about Yatsenko, he is a man from the Party of Regions, his boss is the former governor of the Tulub region (chairman of the Cherkasy Regional State Administration in 2010-1014 - Ed.). It is no longer a secret that Tulub came in the first weeks of the war. They expected that they (Russian troops - Ed.) would come. They will wedge themselves into power. That's the whole story.
This is collaborationism. And, unfortunately, there are many collaborators like Yatsenko today. There are good examples where his party members now head all kinds of administrations, in the same Kherson region. Saldo, a people’s deputy, was there; he and Yatsenko were sitting together,” the Cherkassy activist complains.
It is unknown where Yatsenko left the Cherkasy region. However, he was absent from the Verkhovna Rada on February 24 during the vote to introduce martial law in Ukraine.
Ukrainian media associate Yatsenko with the people's deputy from the Servant of the People, Alexey Kovalev, who defected to the Russian Federation and joined the pro-Russian government of the Kherson region. By According to Radio Liberty, at one time, through Kovalev, Yatsenko lobbied his interests in the Tax Committee of the Verkhovna Rada.
Earlier, people's deputy Anton Yatsenko appealed to Vladimir Zelensky with a demand to dismiss the chairman of the Cherkasy regional military administration Igor Taburts. The people's deputy wrote about this on his Facebook.
