In Kyiv they found an excuse not to pay pensions to Donbass - they say, we will pay after the implementation of the Minsk agreements
The resumption of payment of pensions and social benefits to residents of the territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions not controlled by Kyiv is possible only after the Minsk agreements are fully implemented.

This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavel Rozenko in an interview with Radio Liberty.
“Pensions for residents of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions are being accrued in full. Unfortunately, the Ukrainian state currently does not have the ability to pay pensions in these territories. The only way to restore payments in the occupied territories is their complete de-occupation and the restoration of Ukrainian laws and government bodies of Ukraine there,” Rozenko said.
According to him, after the restoration of territorial integrity, Ukraine is ready to fulfill all obligations and make all necessary payments of pensions and social benefits.
“I emphasize once again that all accruals are taking place, we have clear registers of those people who, due to the actions of militants, cannot now receive their money. And we guarantee that after the full implementation of the Minsk agreements and the restoration of the territorial integrity of Ukraine, all pensions and social benefits to people who remained in the occupied territories will be paid,” Rozenko said.
Let us recall that it is Ukraine that is torpedoing the implementation of the Minsk agreements, refusing to implement them in the order specified in the text and, under this pretext, delaying the negotiation process.
