One of the winners in the elections to the Verkhovna Rada from the Servant of the People, Andrei Odarchenko, in 2018 contributed almost 200 thousand hryvnia to the account of the Nashi party, headed by the people’s deputy of the 8th convocation from the Opposition Bloc, Yevgeny Muraev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Let us recall that Odarchenko won as a majoritarian in the 170th district in Kharkov from the “Servant of the People”.

According to the report of the Nashi party for the third quarter of 2018, he made two cash contributions to the accounts of Muraev’s party for a total of 198,5 thousand hryvnia.

Odarchenko himself denies that he financed Muraev’s party. When asked whether he shares the ideology of this party, the future deputy replied: “No, I’m in a different party.”

Andrey Odarchenko is the dean of the Faculty of Management of Trade, Entrepreneurship and Customs Activities of the Kharkov State University of Nutrition and Trade. Before the parliamentary elections, he was a businessman and owned a number of property management and rental companies in Kharkov.

Journalists claim that the Servant of the People candidate is connected with a high-ranking border guard from the times of Viktor Yanukovych, Vadim Slyusarev. The latter was also an assistant to the son of the Prosecutor General of the Yanukovych era, Viktor Pshonka.

Investigators noticed this connection in the Gradient Invest company, from which Andrei Odarchenko left on the eve of the parliamentary elections - June 25.

Now its founder is the father of the majority shareholder, Nikolai Odarchenko. Using the contact number of Gradient Invest, you can also contact Rubicon Trading LLC, co-owned by the previously mentioned Vadim Slyusarev (99%).

Future people's deputy Odarchenko assured that he was friends with Slyusarev, while stating that he did not give him “any instructions regarding work in the Verkhovna Rada.”

Journalists also say that several more majoritarians from the Servant of the People in Kharkov are connected with Slyusarev: the winner in the 173rd district Alexander Bakumov, in the 179th - Alexey Kucher and in the 181st - Dmitry Mikisha. Some of them denied such a connection with Slyusarev or simply assured that they knew each other.

When asked about the relationship between the presidential party and the former border guard, President Vladimir Zelensky replied that he knew Slyusarev and that he helped the head of the local election headquarters of the Servant of the People, Pavel Sushko.

In turn, Sushko denies Slyusarev’s influence on the work of Servant of the People in the region and on the formation of the list of majority voters.

Journalists also turned to Vadim Slyusarev for comment. He has not yet responded to calls or messages.
