This opinion was expressed on social networks by Kiev publicist and journalist Vyacheslav Chechilo, editor-in-chief of the online publication “Capital”.
“The US Department of State is eliminating the position of special representative for Ukraine - there are no takers. Russia and the West quarreled over Ukraine, and world Orthodoxy split. Now the Republicans have quarreled with the Democrats. Any mention of the word “Ukraine” causes nervous tremors among Washington officials. Somehow there’s even a reason to be proud, don’t you think?” wrote Chechilo.
